Pearly Everlasting is a member of the sunflower family. However, it is a perennial.
The stems and elongated leaves of Pearly Everlasting are covered with white hairs.
The blossoms of Pearly Everlasting can be dried for durable bouquets. The name comes from the fact that they last for a long time when dried.
